More About Coach Matt
I am the assistant Head coach at Palmetto HS and currently coach DL. I have been a DC for two state semi-final and regional championship teams here at Palmetto HS. I have coached for 16 years now (10 at my current job Palmetto HS and 6 at Southeast HS) and also spent a few years coaching LBs. I have multiple collegiate athletes that have played under me and played at all levels D1/D2/D3. I have quite a few former players currently on D1 rosters. I specialize in DL and/or LB play. Our sessions will be technique oriented through position specific drills that are drills that will be used in a game. All our drills are meant to mirror exactly the techniques used in live game action. The drills we will work will have extreme focus and attention to all the details to help the player excel at his position. If it's not important to the specific needs of the position then they wont be done. Everyone's time is valuable and I have found it to be of great importance to keep that focus solely on the development of the technique's needed for that position
