Welcome to my coaching profile! With over 11 years of coaching experience, I specialize in shot put and discus training. Throughout my coaching career, I have had the privilege of working with high school students, helping them excel in these field events. My coaching methods have consistently produced outstanding results, with numerous regional and state champions, national qualifiers, and dozens of regional and all-state honors to our credit.

I am passionate about helping athletes develop their skills and achieve their fullest potential. While my expertise lies in coaching high school students, I am well-equipped to train athletes of any age range. I believe in tailoring my approach to suit individual needs, focusing on technique, strength, and mental preparation to foster success.

I am a highly accomplished athlete with a strong background in shot put. As an All-Region and All-State shot putter at Hermitage High, I consistently demonstrated exceptional skills and dedication. I further pursued my athletic career at VCU, where I competed at the collegiate level, showcasing my exceptional abilities and commitment to the sport.

I focus on drills and making sure the student-athlete has a thorough understanding of what they are doing. Typically we spend about 15-30 minutes breaking down each phase of the throw before getting in the circle and throwing.
