More About Coach Mark

I have coached and trained athletes in many different sports. Golf specifically, I have assisted about a handful of 15 handicappers down into the low single digits. I have a great eye for the swing and understand what it takes to go from a 16 handicap, to an 8, and now down to a +2.9.

All ACC performer in both soccer and football for Clemson University. I was a four year starter on the soccer team and a two year starter on the football team. Led the ACC in Points in 2007. Captained the soccer team for three years. Also, shot 68-68 for an 136 (-8) total to qualify for the US Public Links Championship in 2013.

Golf can be overcomplicated. I want first observe, and then do my best to simplify the golf swing during each individual session. Over analysis can sometimes lead to paralysis in golf so I want to give each student one or two takeaways and things to work on until we work together again.

Our son's first session with Mark was a huge success. On the way to the car after training, he proclaimed (without any questions from me) that "this was the best training he had ever had." I was quite impressed with our son's attitude after the training, which speaks to how well he got along with and responded to Mark. In this first session he got tons of touches, reinforced some things he had practiced before, but mostly learned a bunch of new drills and practice techniques - some of which he can now do on his own to supplement trainings. Mark also provided our son with many tips and strategic pointers throughout the session. Our son cannot wait until his next training! Would enthusiastically recommend Mark to anyone.
