More About Coach Maria

I have provided yoga lessons to people of all levels and ages. Currently, I work at a gym and also have private lessons.
Yoga has been part of of my life for over ten years, and I still keep learning daily.

I have not competed at the collegiate or professional level. Nevertheless, I always compete with myself to challenge and improve my practice; yoga is a competition with oneself only, not with others.

A typical session will focus on the specific areas of the body you want to focus on. The yoga session will mainly help to build strength and flexibility helping achieve a balance between both. Each session is adapted to the athlete's specific needs and abilities.

Maria is a good instructor, very patient and very good explaining the exercises, nothing better than following the advice of someone with experience, as a person and as an instructor she is great.

Maria is not only a very skilled yogi, but has two other characteristics that make her an excellent coach. She has an incredible warmth and empathy - super important in any coach! She really listened to my beginner questions and concerns. She also has a wonderful way of explaining. She broke down steps for me... each piece of my form was given in increments that made perfect sense. And on top of that, she's really nice! I highly recommend checking her out.
