More About Coach Marcus
I have 6+ years experience of training that varies from youth to professional athletes. I have a very personal approach to training. I usually travel to the athlete to train, or I'm close to home in Burbank training. I'm recently becoming open to all age groups. Bachelors degree is currently my only industry certification.
On a collegiate level I attended Netflix Last Chance U’s, East Los Angeles College & Mississippi Valley State University. At East Los Angeles College I finished a Conference Champion, State Runner Up ( First time in school history), All State selection, back to back First Team selections, multiple All Tournament selections, & top 3 scorer in the state of California . At Mississippi Valley State U I led conference in scoring 2 years in a row. Finishing with All American, First Team, & All Tournament honors. Leading them to their first tournament win since 2012
I attack areas to help the athlete become effective, giving them the best chance to get on court & achieve goals. An athletes weakness would be my number 1 priority. For the youth accessing the athlete to get a good idea of position, personality is essential in knowing what would be most effective to help them improve. Collegiate/Professional athletes usually require sharpening their skills or obtaining a new skill. Never standard, sessions are usually predicated on the athlete.
