More About Coach Mackenzie
I have 3 years of 1 on 1 training experiences with players from the ages of 10 to 20. I have helped clients who needed to start at the basics of layups, ball handling, and form shooting. I have also worked with more advanced players who are working on perfecting their skills and enhancing their basketball IQ.
I am a former division 1 basketball player at both Lehigh University and Clemson University. I have been awarded all conference, academic all-American, scholar athlete of the year (2x), and played in the NCAA tournament.
The first session I hold with an athlete will be an assessment of their skills to determine how I proceed. After the first session, workouts will start with a ball handling warmup, form shooting work, and then development on moves, finishes, and basketball IQ. If athletes would like to work out in a small group most sessions will end in a couple games of 1 on 1 so the players can apply the skills worked on during the workout.
