More About Coach Luke

A Baseball player of 20 years with 5 years of College baseball and 7 years as a Private hitting and pitching instructor. I am a former Collegiate pitcher with a passion for the game and an eye for the mechanics. I have experience working with players ages 10+ in both and team setting as well as one on one. I have spent years shadowing coaches and their techniques and learned the science and mechanics of both hitting and pitching. I have been able to use this information to coach young baseball players and assisted in the coaching of a girls youth softball tournament team. Lastly, I also assisted in the coaching a several youth baseball camps as a Student instructor at Mt. San Jacinto College.

High School coaches award 2008, full ride scholarship to the University of Northwestern Ohio, Competed 4 years between Junior College and University. Scouted by several Professional teams. Blessed to have watched many players move on to both High School and College programs.

A typical session will revolve around working with the athlete to perfect their mechanics (pitching/hitting) without changing their play style at its core. For pitchers, this includes warm up drills and actual mound work through both wide up and stretch, working in different pitches as the player becomes more comfortable with their mechanics. For hitters, this includes working off a tee and soft toss drills as well as live pitching.

Coach Luke has a special eye as a pitching coach that is rare to find. He can see the flaws and make the minor adjustments needed in order to improve my sons pitching during games and tournaments. I highly recommend Coach Luke if you are looking for a great pitching coach to work with your child.

My 9 year son has only had 2 sessions so far with Coach Luke and "WOW".... Not only is he great at coaching and very knowledgeable about baseball but also very humble, patient and friendly. He's gone over and beyond our expectations!!! Not only does he make your child feel comfortable but also the parents.. Coach Luke has lots of patients with my boys. One can pickup the mechanics easier and the other has natural talent with a bad habit. We can tell the difference in play. They have become great hitters and a better control pitcher. Luke is a GOOD coach.
