More About Coach Luis

I am originally from Dominican Republic where the sport is a way of life for the youth and what was my past time growing up. As a young adult, I moved moved to New York, where I gained experience coaching a couple of teams for a prestigious private baseball travel league. I love to help young players find their strengths and improve their skills and mechanics by using my playing experience to help them develop as baseball players. My specialty is as a pitching and conditioning coach, but I also can help with catching and fielding.

Baseball has played a crucial part of my life and has made me the person I am today.

Background: I'm a lefty pitcher that has professional experience specifically with the Baltimore Orioles. I am originally from the Dominican Republic, where the sport is loved by all. I relocated to the US, where I coached a couple of travel teams for a private baseball program in NYC and Los Angeles. I have a lot of experience working with youth of all different ages and levels and am passionate about using the knowledge and skills I obtained through my experience playing and coaching to help develop talented pitchers.

Every session is unique according to a player's goals, weaknesses, and strengths. I specialize in pitching fundamentals, drills (pitching/throwing mechanics), general conditioning, hand-eye coordination, focus/discipline, throwing (speed and control), and basic training routines.
