More About Coach Lindsey
Lindsey is a yoga instructor with a dance background and a specialty in the therapeutic benefits of movement. A Los Angeles native, Lindsey trained in classical ballet and modern dance and received a B.A in dance from Loyola Marymount University. She trained at Classical Ballet Theatre, San Pedro City Ballet, and Ballet Austin. During a turn of events in her life Lindsey was told she would need to step away from dance, and during this transition yoga became her main outlet for self-expression. Lindsey is a 200 hour-RYT certified yoga teacher specializing in Vinyasa yoga, restorative yoga, and yoga for kids. Vinyasa Yoga will always dear to Lindsey’s heart because of its graceful movements similar to ballet.
Lindsey whole-heartedly believes in the healing abilities of movement and has worked for the dance movement therapy non-profits Ready, Willing, and Able and The Andrea Rizzo Foundation. In her work with the dance movement therapy community she teaches movement therapy based classes, speaks about movement in her own life, and helps educate about the healing aspects of dance movement therapy. Lindsey’s yoga practice and teaching style emphasize light-heartedness and emotional grace through movement. She whole-heartedly believes that you don’t always have to take things too seriously!

Brittney S (Testimonial)
How do I even start describing my love for Lindsey's classes? She is so in tune with her students' needs and cares so much about each individual, and you can feel it. She has a unique way of crafting each flow, alongside beautiful playlists, and hands on adjustments to deepen or enhance your practice. She has a very delicate, caring, and compassionate way of teaching. Also, I have a lot of fun in her classes with little dance flows or silly moments where she allows us to feel comfortable. I'm always happy to work hard and be rewarded with a meditative savasana, and always followed with a heartfelt, meaningful message or quote. Love me some Lindsey!
Don B (Testimonial)
I have taken many of Lindsey's yin yoga classes and they've all been wonderful experiences. Lindsey's yin classes are very personal, spiritual, and soothing. While one might think Lindsey does all this effortlessly, its clear she also puts a lot of thought and effort into her classes, from the varied and unique music she plays, the seamless transitions from exercise to exercise, and the thoughtful readings she often shares with the class. I am always rejuvenated after one of Lindsey's classes, she is the best!
Diane B (Testimonial)
I stumbled into Lindsey's class at Soho yoga on a whim because I was in the area and after a stressful day, yoga seemed like the right ticket. The staff at Soho was very friendly, even though I was a bit scattered. Rushing in, a minute late or so, Lindsey gently guided me to a spot in the crowded room. Usually when I arrive even a minute late I feel like a disturbance but with Lindsey she made me feel as if there was no where else I belonged. From the first down dog to the blissful savasana( am I spelling that right) I felt fully held and supported by this gem of a teacher, she gave me all of the instruction I needed to stay safe but she didn't cram down high school anatomy like some teachers I've taken. What she did do is give me a safe space to go inward and connect with myself which is why I got into yoga in the first place. Thanks to the friendly front desk at Soho, (here's to you Hannah) and to Lindsey's supportive words during the most challenging part of class (something called 8 angle pose, Good God) this class reignited me to get serious with my yoga practice again. Now, I'm a proud member at Soho yoga and follow Lindsey around the schedule. Her tpt class which is like half yoga and half therapeutic is amazing. I've also begun a private series with her which has blown me away and done wonders for my on and off again sciatica. Anyone looking to enhance their life through a yoga practice would do themselves a great service to do a private class with this yoga Angel.
Mark M (Testimonial)
Lindsey is a very gifted instructor. She helped this newbie and my daughter to find our way into yoga while also challenging the more experienced members of the class. She creates well-rounded classes and is quick to remind us that we can ALWAYS take child's pose when needed. Terrific instructor. Highly recommend!
