More About Coach Lindsay

I bring over 12 years of basketball coaching experience, working with athletes across all levels—from youth beginners to professional players. I’ve coached boys and girls ages 6–17, as well as men’s and women’s professional athletes in Europe, giving me a well-rounded perspective on player development at every stage.

As the owner and Head of Individual Training at The German Basketball Akademie, I spent five years building and leading a program focused on skill development, fundamentals, and game performance. My approach emphasizes not just technical growth, but confidence, decision-making, and preparation for high-pressure moments.

In addition to hands-on coaching, I’ve held leadership roles at the collegiate and international levels. I served as Director of Operations for the Santa Clara University Women’s Basketball program (2021–2022), and went on to work with USA Basketball as Managing Director for the Women’s 3x3 Olympic Program (2022–2025).

Basketball is truly my passion, and I’m dedicated to helping athletes develop the skills, mindset, and confidence needed to perform at their best when it matters most.

I was named a McDonald’s All-American and WBCA All-American in 2010 while playing at Great Oak High School, where I established myself as one of the top high school players in the country. In 2025, I was honored to be inducted into the Great Oak High School Hall of Fame.

I began my collegiate career at UC Berkeley Women’s Basketball, competing at the Division I level for two seasons before transferring to Gonzaga University Women’s Basketball, where I played three seasons and continued to develop at a high level.

Following college, I played professionally in Germany for five years, gaining international experience and competing against top talent in Europe.

The athlete always comes first. Every player’s game is unique, and I tailor each session to meet individual needs and goals.

For younger athletes, we focus on building a strong foundation by developing all areas of the game—ball handling, shooting, footwork, and overall fundamentals. I believe in creating well-rounded players early on, so guards learn post moves and bigs develop ball-handling skills.

For more advanced and older players, sessions become more position-specific and game-focused, emphasizing decision-making, efficiency, and in-game situations.

Having played and trained at every position throughout my career—including professionally—I bring a deep understanding of how both guards and post players think, move, and perform on the court.

Client Reviews

Down to earth, really good with my shy kid. Came prepared and on time (even though I wasn't)

Coach Lindsay was great with my daughter(13) Giselle.
She was patient but most important made it fun and broke down the fundamentals to the game of basketball where my daughter left with learning sum thing new and wanting to get back to work to practice what she learned ..amazing impact !
Coach Lindsay is the epitome of a Coach

Coach Lindsay worked with me on my post game for over 2 years. I went from having no confidence when I got the ball down low to leading the team in points and rebounds. Lindsay pushed me out of my comfort zone every session. I wouldn’t be where I am today in my basketball career without her individual sessions.
Lindsay is an incredible basketball player and an even better person. She led are team on the court throughout her professional career in Germany and made our community a better place. She will always have a home in our town.
