More About Coach Lindsay

I am a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Instructor accredited by Yoga Alliance.

I teach Vinyasa Yoga to individuals of all ages and levels. My class is designed to focus on breath work, flexibility, concentration, and focus. By focusing on the breath, my clients are able to quiet their minds and create more flexibility in their bodies, giving them more energy. I've worked with children and adults, using a vinyasa method that is simple, yet challenging. I focus on each individual's yoga level, and if there any specific things they'd like to focus on. I like to challenge my students with a vinyasa flow that strengthens their body and increases mind/body awareness. A short meditation is included in each session, which realigns the energy system in their body so they can function at their highest physical and mental self.

I start my session with pranayama breathwork (dirga breath, kapalabati breath, & alternate nostril breath), gentles warm-ups, sun salutations, postures, meditation, and savasana). I go through a normal vinyasa flow that ends in a brief seated meditation. After each session, I want my clients to feel more centered, energized, stronger and more focused.

I earned my BA from Penn State University. I began practicing Yoga ten years ago. Having been a competitive athlete my whole life, I found yoga to strengthen my body, create more flexibility and control, and gave me an overall mind, body connection that I had never experienced from sports. For the next many years, I continued taking yoga classes and got certified to teach kids and adults. Yoga has transformed my body and my mind. It is my duty to share this practice with as many people as I ca, so they can get in touch with their unique selves, feel confident in their bodies, and live the life they always dreamed of!

n my yoga class, we focus on the breath, while practicing a series of vinyasa asanas, and end with a meditation. The sequence and intensity of the class varies based on the student’s experience, energy level and ability, and what they specifically want out of a yoga practice. My classes are available to both kids and adults of any age; beginners, intermediates, and advanced yoga practitioners that focus on each individual student’s needs.
