I am a 200 HR register yoga alliance certified teacher. I have been practicing yoga for the last five years now. After my fourth year practicing I realized I wanted to share yoga and its benefits with as many people as possible. I took my first teacher 200hr training January- May 2015. One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching is seeing a change in each persons practice week to week. My classes are playful but challenging.

In January of 2015 I decided to take this next step in my practice and do a teacher training. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I did my training at BeYoga College, it was the first teacher training they held and a wonderful experience. The fourteen of us who embarked on the journey all formed a sisterhood. It challenged me physically and mentally. I graduated in May 2015 and began teaching shortly after. Teaching has been such an amazing experience. I really don't think there are words to adequately describe the feeling of being able to guide students through a practice. I will forever be inspired by all who show up on their mats.

Every class can be built and centered around what your body needs. A typical class of mine begins with centering by a breathing exercise. Followed by setting an intention that is usually predetermined and the theme for the class. After, we begin warming up, sun salutations, and move into our practice. There will be a lot of focus on alignment and benefits of poses as we move thru our vinyasa flow. Class will end in a relaxing savassana with aromatherapy.

Linda’s small classes were my re-introduction to yoga after a 4-year hiatus. She creates a safe, judgement-free environment and is encouraging and quick to pick up on students’ personal progress. Linda has a cheerful, positive style of teaching and is very responsive to any questions or personal concerns. I felt like I could go ahead and try new things and challenge myself, as she takes time to correct posture and discuss breathing techniques along the way. Overall, I found the classes with Linda to be challenging and balancing with a perfect amount of playfulness.
As someone who never really "got" yoga, I think it's safe to say I'm hooked. It's mostly due to Linda. Her love and appreciation for the art of Yoga seems to transfer from her to everyone she teaches. She makes it enjoyable. She also has a way of making you feel comfortable, and not judged. As someone, like a lot of us, who is insecure, taking a class with Linda you forget about it all. I always tell her she has such a soothing voice that she puts me to sleep; especially when we're in Savasana. If I don't have a yoga class at least once a week, the rest of my week is off. Thank you Linda so much for introducing me to yoga!
