I have over five years of experience training and molding young dancers. My teaching experience ranges from ballet, jazz, tap and modern, specializing in contemporary dance and musical theater. When a client comes to me they can expect to receive training tailored specifically to their needs, technical ability, and goals. I have worked with dancers of all ages and levels, from true beginners through professionals. I am available to coach any genre of dance and excel at breaking down steps in a clear and straightforward manner. Each session is always tailored to the individual I am working with. I will focus my attention on the areas of primary concern, whether it is learning and reviewing basic movements or cultivating greater expression through performance.

I am an accomplished dancer with over 13 years of training. I have attended over 50 regional and national competitions, as well as conventions. I have consistently received awards including first place overall high scores in the junior and senior soloist divisions. I have over five years of dance teaching experience, including instructing large classes and doing one-on-one sessions with students.

Depending on which style/techniques you would like to work on, I start off with cleaning up and perfecting the technique, and then I also choreograph short pieces of choreography in which you perform for me and then I critique. I do this so you can practice your coordination skills, performance skills, and also memorization of choreography, something very important in the dance world.
