More About Coach Kt

Nationally Certified Personal Trainer (NCCPT), as well as a Certified Health Coach (ACE), working with corporate clients privately and at Equinox Club NYC. I am also a Precision Running Coach with Equinox. Clients age range is typically 30 to 60.

High School Track & Field & Tennis lettered athlete: T&F - 800m, 1500m, 3000m, 4x400m relay + 110m, 400m hurdles, high jump, triple jump.
Adult: 5k, 10k, half-marathon, marathon finisher

Focus on strength training and nutrition discussion for runners. The program mixes in both compound movement strength, mobility and movement pattern exercises, along with plyo work, balance, posture, form and skill work. A functional movement screen and assessment will be covered upon intro. If there are any functional movement asymmetries or imbalances, these will be addressed in the first sessions of the program.

The strength session begins with SMR and warm up prep. Pending environment & available equipment, sessions will include upper and lower body strength work (shoulders, back, core, glutes, quad, calves) to include a balanced mixture of push & pull movements, squats, lunges and multi-planar loaded movements. Balance drills, posture and movement patterns will be worked on in each session.

The mobility sessions will include balance and skill work, as well as plyo, energy system work and running form work... based on initial assessment and skill level/ needs.

Each session will include running drills and assessments, either at the beginning or end of the workout. Homework will be given for the runner to work on between sessions.
