More About Coach Kobe
I spent summer 2026 at Integrity Hoops and Excel sports helping train NBA players, running drills and assisting with on-court skill development. Before that I coached youth players at the Ty Jerome Basketball Camp in Charlottesville, VA (2022, 2023) and the University of Delaware Basketball Camp (2023, 2024). I work with athletes from grade schoolers to professionals.
In high school, I was a McDonald’s All American Nominee and named to the All State team. Following that, I played four years of Division I basketball: two seasons at UC Riverside (2021–2023) in the Big West and two at the University of Delaware (2023–2025) in the CAA. I'm a 6'4" point guard who competed against high-major programs and future pros. I tied the school record at the University of Delaware for most threes in a game without a miss going 6 for 6.
Every session starts with a quick conversation about your goals and a short evaluation so I can see how you move and where your game is right now. From there we warm up with ball-handling and footwork, then move into the main block: shooting mechanics and form work, finishing around the rim, and game-speed reps off the dribble and off the catch. I build each drill around situations you'll see in real games, not just cones and stationary reps. We finish with competitive shooting or live 1-on-1 so you're applying everything under pressure and fatigue. You'll leave with clear feedback and specific things to work on before our next session.
