Born in New Orleans, LA. Kirk Broussard is a Professional American Football Coach, General Manager, Community Activist, Motivational Speaker, Sports Talk Radio Analyst, Scouting/Player Evaluation & Consulting company owner, Speed & agility trainer. Kirk played football for Washington High in Pensacola, FL. He hauled in thirty-one passes for 685 yards and six touchdowns, including three returns for touchdowns during his short 13 game high school career. He was also an outstanding and gifted track athlete. In 1994, he clocked automatic times of 10.38 and 21.32 seconds, respectively, in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash finals at the Florida class 6A track and field regional meet while at Washington.

Following his high school career, Broussard received a athletic scholarship to play football at Pasadena City College, California in 1999 before transferring to Citrus College in 2001 where he started at free safety while also participating in track. He later would pursue professional opportunities overseas in various leagues GFL, NIFL, AFL, and NFLE.

Kirk Broussard most recently served as Assistant TightEnds/ QC Coach for the NFL Buffalo Bill's in 2015-16 and Running Backs QC/Detroit Lions in 2013 were he worked with NFL running backs Reggie Bush, Joique Bell, Mikel Leshoure, Montell Owens, and Theo Riddick. During the 2012 season he served as Wide Receivers Coach at Bluefield College in Virginia were he help freshman Wide Receiver Rodrell Smith to become a All Conference performer in his first year ever playing the position.
Previous to that he was the Associate General Manager of the West Texas Roughneck Professional Indoor (Arena) Football, the Roughnecks went on to make the playoffs. Broussard then served as an NFL Coaching Intern for the Minnesota Vikings during the 2010 season. Prior to his coaching experience in the NFL Broussard, served as the Director of Player Personnel for the Columbus Lions (Arena/ Indoor Football) during the team's 2010 championship season as a member of the Professional Southern Indoor Football League.Coach Broussard served as the Offensive Coordinator of the Mississippi Mudcats (AIFA) Arena Football in 2007-2008. In addition to being Offensive Coordinator, Broussard was also the Director of Player Personnel for the Mudcats organization in 2008. Broussard would guide the Mudcats offense to the number one ranking in 2008 averaging 56 ppg. as the team finished 14-1 during the regular season with an appearance in the conference championship game. Prior to his time with the MudCats in Mississippi, Broussard served as the Itawamba Community College Running Backs Coach in 2007 helping his running backs group gain over 1,600 yards, and finishing the season 9-2. Furthermore, Coach Broussard spent 2006 as the Fullbacks & Linebackers Intern Coach of the Lakeland Thunderbolts (NIFL) Arena Football team as well as the Director of Player Personnel, achieving a 13-2 mark and the leagues to rank offense. Coach Broussard was tabbed as a “young player personnel Guru” by The Northeast 360 Mississippi Daily News in 2007 by writer John Pitts. Coach Bru, as he is affectionately known, brings a wealth of knowledge to the game.
