More About Coach Kimson

I have been working with kids aged 7-18 in baseball camps since 1992 when I first arrived to play baseball at Cal. State Fullerton. I worked with Augie Garrido in his camps and also worked aside with big-leaguers like Bobby Grich and Darin Erstad in a few Angel Camps.

Ball players will develop different styles and techniques as they work their way up each level of competition. I like to prepare these athletes so that they continue to improve and reach their goals.

Here is my recipe for a good baseball foundation if you want to take it to the next level and be as sharp as you can be:

*Technique. ( pitching, hitting, fielding)
*Strength/Conditioning

*Game Strategy and situational awareness.

I have been playing organized baseball for 40 years (age 7-47).
Accomplishments: High School State Championship Finalist in Santa Cruz Coast Athletic League. (1987)
1991- MVP for Monterey Peninsula JC; runner up for MVP in Coast Conference Pacific Division
1992- Jr. College State Finalist for Sacramento City College.
1994 and 1995 College World Series- Cal State Fullerton
1995 NCAA National Champion- Cal State Fullerton.
3 time National Champion--SOCAL Snappers--MABL/MSBL

I'm a bit old for my opinion 53 I play adult baseball and a practice squad. I did gain a MPH on my fastball. I do believe Coack K is a wealth of knowledge and a high Baseball IQ. I went from low 70% control to 90% command. Made some adjustments and feel a lot more confident. If you listen to Coach K He will show you correct pitching mechanics. If I was a kid today, I could say I would have gone pro!

Coach K was great for our boy in 9U. Unfortunately our season came to an end and next on the plate is soccer season. When ready we are for sure reaching back out.
