More About Coach Kimberly
I have over 9 years of coaching experience in a variety of settings including competitive/non-competitive leagues, summer camps, and private lessons. Primarily with experience in coaching children aged 3-13 years old, I like to keep lessons fun and engaging, while at the same time challenging players to push themselves. My coaching career began in California as a part of the Jr. Warriors basketball league and has moved on to include coaching in Arizona as a part of the Jr. Suns and NYS leagues.
I have over 11 years of playing experience with 2 years at the junior college level in California. In addition to basketball, my athletic career consisted of soccer, and track and field at the junior college level. I then went on to play D1 rugby in Arizona.
A typical session starts with a warmup, followed by dribbling and shooting drills, we then move into some competitive drills and games to add the pressure of game situations. Lessons vary based on the goals of the athlete and their learning style.
