With over 10 years of competitive basketball experience, I have coached and managed high school teams while training athletes ages 4–18. I specialize in developing strong fundamentals, advanced game IQ, footwork, shooting mechanics, and decision-making under pressure. My sessions are structured, high-energy, and tailored to each athlete’s goals — whether that’s making a school team, earning more playing time, or preparing for higher-level competition.

As a FIBA-certified coach, I apply international coaching standards and proven player development methods. I focus not only on skill improvement but also on building confidence, discipline, and a competitive mindset.

I competed at the collegiate level for four years at Nanjing University, where I developed strong defensive discipline, leadership skills, and high basketball IQ. During my college career, I was awarded the 2016 Defensive Player of the Year and the 2018 Most Valuable Player (MVP), recognizing both my impact on the court and overall performance.

Competing at the university level sharpened my understanding of team systems, game strategy, and performance under pressure. These experiences now influence how I train athletes — emphasizing fundamentals, defensive intensity, leadership, and smart decision-making

A typical session with me is structured, high-energy, and tailored to the athlete’s age, skill level, and goals.

We begin with a dynamic warm-up focused on mobility, footwork, and ball control to activate the body and build coordination. From there, I emphasize core fundamentals such as shooting mechanics, ball-handling under pressure, finishing techniques, and defensive positioning.

For younger athletes (ages 4–10), sessions focus heavily on coordination, confidence, basic dribbling, layups, and fun competitive drills to build love for the game.

For middle and high school athletes (11–18), I incorporate advanced ball-handling combinations, game-speed shooting drills, defensive footwork, reading screens, situational decision-making, and conditioning. I also include live game scenarios to help athletes apply skills under pressure.

Every session includes:

• Confidence-building feedback

I prioritize teaching athletes how to think the game — not just perform drills. My goal is for every player to leave better, more confident, and more disciplined than when they arrived
