I’m a highly experienced basketball coach who has been helping athletes to reach their full potential for over 30 years. I’m the founder of the AAU organization “Playmaker Academy” and have worked with boys and girls between the ages of 8-18 to master the fundamentals and to take their game to levels unimaginable. A few of my alumni have advanced to a collegiate and professional level with this sport. The most notable example of this includes my former player Elijah Hughes getting drafted into the NBA in 2020.

What gives me an edge over many coaches is that I've mastered the capabilities of being an efficient point guard. I refer to the point guard as being the "coach on the floor". From an early age, I have been leading other players to victory and incentivizing them to perform to the best of their ability. These skills have helped me to win championships from a recreational level to a AAU sector.

I'm a firm believer that every player needs to master the fundamentals of basketball. The ones who do this will truly be able to take their game to the next level and to easily thrive. I use a number of advanced drills relating to dribbling, driving, passing and shooting that will push each athlete outside of their comfort zone. Each session will begin with warm-ups(dynamic stretching) and subsequently we will focus on a specific skill for that day depending on the specific client's needs.
