More About Coach Katie

Currently RYT 200HR certified. In 2015, I quit my corporate gig to pursue my passion for yoga and teach full-time. My training includes 2 200HR trainings with Corepower Yoga as well as 3 separate continuing-ed programs. I currently teach at Corepower, Hot8, and Lit Yoga here in LA as well as with various private clients. I also find so much joy in teaching kids yoga.

Growing up, I was extremely active, always playing a sport. After trying almost everything, swimming and soccer turned to be where my interests lied. Once I hit college, I began working out mostly on my own or taking classes here and there, but something was missing. I was craving an outlet where I could get a good work out, but was realizing I also needed to work on myself, needed to relieve the various stresses in life. That's when a friend of mine suggested hot yoga. I've been hooked ever since.

A typical hour long session will include stretching, strengthening, and self reflection. Each week I will create a sequence of movements tailored to your goals and needs. Not only will we move, but also breathe, reflect. At the beginning of each session, an intention will be set, something you need or something you're working on. Something you can take with you off your mat. By working you body and mind, I will help you to feel and be the best version of yourself!
