More About Coach Justin
I've been a basketball coach for 9 years. Even before my 9 year career in coaching I helped coach younger siblings teams while I was in high school and college whenever I could. I started my career as a high school girl's assistant coach. After two years of assisting, I became a high school head boys coach for 1 year. One year into head coaching the boys I received an offer to be an assistant men's collegiate coach. After accepting, I coached at the collegiate level for 4 seasons. in 2020 we won our first regional tournament in over 10 years. Unfortunately with COVID our national tournament was cancelled. After a career change and moving away from the college, I became a high school boys assistant coach for the past two years. I'm not currently coaching a team because I have two young children at home now.
I was a consistent successful player at the high school level on a very competitive team. I went on to compete for 1 year at a small D3 equivalent college in Iowa. I was a manager and helped with coaching practices for another year after that.
The first session together will be an evaluator to see where each athlete is at on their journey. My sessions will be very detailed and analytical with a focus on footwork and shooting in every session.
