More About Coach Judy
I have been a martial arts instructor since 1999. Specializing in life skills development for kids and self defense and fitness for both kids and adults. Ages range 3 to 70+. I am a 4th degree black belt in kenpo karate. I have ongoing training through our master and my various degree certifications. I teach at a black belt school called action karate.
5th degree in kenpo karate and 1st degree in tang soo do. During elementary and middle school I placed 1st in most field day events involving racing (speed and agility).
1. Build repport and help them understand the importance of self confidence. Help them believe in themselves.
2. Tailor the self defense and fitness session to focus on their needs. Teach karate moves and make it fun -punching and kicking bags, mental and physical self defense techniques, kata for concentration and memory, plyometric and cardio exercises, static and dynamic stretching.
3. Give nutrition tips if they want them.
4. Have fun!
