More About Coach Joshua
I coached high football and Track and field for three years and middle school track and field for two years. I was the strength and conditioning coach at University of Puget Sound for four years where I worked with the men's/women's basketball, tennis, soccer, baseball, fast-pitch, women's lacrosse, men's/women's crew, and cheer. Right now I am the strength coach at Wilson high school and I also own a gym where my clients range from elementary aged to professional athletes.
My certifications include: BS in EXercise Science, Certified strength and conditioning coach (CSCS), NASM Corrective exercise specialist, USA Level one track and field.
In high school I played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track. I played football at Western Washington University. I started my sophomore year at strong safety, in which we won the Rotary Bowl. While in college, I also boxed for two years as a sparring partner for amateur fighters.
Sessions will start out with a mobility routine to loosen up the joints/muscles and so I can observe how well the client moves. What comes next will depend on the client, their ability, and the type of training we are doing that day.
