More About Coach Jordan
Throughout my four years of college baseball, I served as a player assistant for the George Mason University coaching staff. I helped organize and run team camps, set up drills, throw BP, and support all aspects of player development — gaining hands-on experience working with athletes at every level.
After graduating in 2024, while pursuing my professional playing career, I returned to George Mason to assist with outfielders and hitters. During my offseason, I also coached at Complete Game, a baseball training facility where I led practices, hitting sessions, and fielding classes. I even ran my own 15U travel team, developing young athletes both on and off the field.
Following my first professional season with the Sussex County Miners in the Frontier League, I continued my passion for coaching by joining the Virginia Beach Baseball Academy. There, I worked with players ages 5–18, focusing on hitting and defensive fundamentals to help each athlete reach their full potential.
My experience ranges from youth development to elite collegiate and professional training environments, giving me a deep understanding of what it takes to perform at every level of the game.
I competed at the Division I level as a four-year starting center fielder at George Mason University. During my college career, I was a three-year team captain, earning First Team All-Conference, Two Second Team All-Conference, and First Team All-Regional honors in the Wake Forest Regional.
After graduating, I began my professional career with the Sussex County Miners of the Frontier League, where I hit .308 over 90 games in my rookie season.
Each session starts with a full swing breakdown and video analysis, identifying key areas for improvement and creating a clear plan for progress. I focus on simple, effective drills that every athlete can understand and repeat — helping players build consistent, game-ready movements.
A typical hitting session begins with tee work and video review, focusing on feel, rhythm, and mechanics that translate into live situations. From there, we move into front toss to reinforce what we’ve worked on, before finishing with overhand or machine BP (if available) to simulate game-speed reps.
Throughout every drill, I coach the mental side of the game — helping players learn how to manage emotions, stay confident through challenges, and maintain focus no matter the situation.
