More About Coach Jonathan
Over eight years I’ve coached middle & high school basketball, elementary basketball, flag football & baseball, and trained post–high school athletes. I typically work with ages 6–22. I was voted as the LHSAA District 9C Boys Basketball Coach of the Year (2012-2013). I was awarded by the New Orleans Pelicans as the Scholastic Jr. Coach of the Year (2023).
I was a 7th-grade - 12th grade varsity starter at Bishop McManus Academy, averaged no less than 26+ PPG 9th-12th grade, earned All-District honors, MVP & All-State each year, then played in prep school for a year competing vs national talent ( Kevin Durant) and played collegiately on scholarship at Tennessee Temple University.
Sessions start with form-shooting and footwork drills to lock in body positioning and alignment. Then we run spot-up and movement drills (v-cuts, curl cuts) to get you to your spots. Finally we practice catch-and-shoot and off-moves to get to desired scoring spots on court. Pure offensive scoring work.
