More About Coach John

I have coached youth football for over 10 years. I've been coaching football at Lincoln High school for over 15 years. I served as a Defensive Coordinator from 2005-2013. I've served as Head Coach for Lincoln High freshman from 2014 & 2015, where my record is 12-4. I now serve as the varsity’s Running Back and Inside Linebacker coach. I've train college athletes from all over the country, and I have coached with current and former professional athletes during clinics. I've trained high school linebackers, and I am a certified running back coach through the national football Academy.

I've played high school football and basketball at Thornridge high school. I have 18 years of martial art training. I have coached on two National Youth Football Championship teams(2013 & 2014), where I have served as Defensive Coordinator and running backs coach. In 2015 as head coach, I helped lead Lincoln high freshman to a city championship with a 8-0 record, averaging 63 point a game and allowing 7 points all season.

Each session will be designed for the individual athlete based upon the goals the athlete sets forth. Sessions can range from 1 to 2 hours and will include fundamentals, conditioning, and certain drills that will enhance the skill the athlete desire to play.

Client Reviews

(no details provided)

Coach John goes the extra distance with a sincere investment of interest with his trainee. I highly recommend John to anyone who is seeking a patient, persistant, and professional trainer. This gentleman knows exactly what he's doing and can motivate virtually any individual to obtain their goals and objectives.

Coach Goodwin is one of the best coaches I've had the privilege to not only work along side, but to learn from. He's always trying to expand his education to be able to expand his knowledge base to in turn serve the young men that he so passionately coaches and leads. John is a great teacher with a unique ability to communicate in clear and digestible terms that allow athletes to not only understand the immediate teaching point but in a way that allows them to be able to think and see conceptually. I am indebted to John as I feel that he as inspired and helped mold me into a better coach. -Chad Case, OC/QBs- Lincoln High School, Nationally Certified QB Coach- National Football Academies.
