Jeremy (CoachUp client)
Coach Magno is great.
My son 9 was good, but needed next level coaching. Joe has worked with him though the fundamentals. He is able to pin point the areas that need work. My son could throw hard, but as a pitcher he had a low elbow throw. For years nobody could get him to get full rotation on his long toss or pitch, after one session with Joe he has made amazing progress. He has been working through the new/proper throwing techniques. Anyone that wants themselves or their children to go next level should contact Joe. We go a few miles out of our way to train with Joe.
It’s worth the extra mile.

Wilmer Aaron · Head Varsity Baseball Coach at Serra High School (Testimonial)
Joe, this video of you describing hitting in particular brought tingles up my spine! I am an ex professional baseball player and I had to learn what you're talking about the old fashioned way. You my friend have the formula and al l the training techniques summed up correctly. For those who refuse to listen to you and continue chopping or hooking at the ball will never ever be able to reach their full potential. Don't you hate it when some say" well there's more than one way to hit a baseball". If you are not staying to the inside and coming slightly up getting the bat on the same plane, we as good coaches that understand hitting will eat you alive at the plate. You will take plenty of 0/4 's. You are right about some of this major league hitter talking about chopping. How ridiculous! Hey my boys last year (high school) were the top hitting team in the nation for the 1st 16 games of the year. I will have #1 pick this year in the major league draft using this method. It would be interesting to speak with you about an over looked aspect of hitting which is timing! Great job and you are miles ahead of most out there! Wil.

Patrick Ricci Retired Head Baseball Coach Western New England University” (Testimonial)
As Joe’s college coach I can highly recommend Joe and his ‘Mister Baseball’ to anyone. Joe was very successful as a baseball player at the College level because of his hard work and dedication. Joe set very high standards and goals for himself in baseball. And with his hard work dedication and great work ethics he was able to attain those goals. Joe was always a team player who knew how to do the right thing both on and off the field. Joe has taken his baseball knowledge, his work ethics, sense of fair play and is incorporated that into his ‘Mister Baseball’. The proof is in the success of the players Joe has instructed and in the success in the teams he has coached. I strongly recommend anyone that is interested in developing their child as a baseball player and a good solid person to sign them up immediately for Joe’s ‘Mister Baseball’ . Joe builds good baseball players and players with character. Patrick Ricci Retired Head Baseball Coach Western New England University

Johnny Palmer - CSUDH Player (Testimonial)
Being a 22 year old junior transferring into Cal State Dominguez Hills this past year not knowing anyone, I was focused on handling my business on the field. As a player who likes to get to the field a couple hours early and do hitting work, I’ve grown accustomed to practicing alone much of the time. This year was different. Coach Magno was there the very first day I walked down to the field before anyone else working on one of the many hitting mechanisms he integrated into our teams daily practice routine. Since that first day we worked in the cages together, there wasn’t a single day that I was on that field by myself. Not only did I get my work in because of this, but other key players on the team started seeing what was going on before every practice, and started to come out a few hours early as well to work with coach. This is the affect that he had on our team this year, half of our line-up(the top half) coming out to work before practice almost every day with coach. Coach Magno’s commitment to hands on management didn’t just end in the batting cages though, he also took over our team weight room and turned it from something a homeless person wouldn’t sleep in, to a gorgeous and productive team weight room that we named ”Magno’s Dungeon” in his honor. Coach spearhead many products like this at Dominguez this year! He led us in clearing out the cages so that we had more room and putting up more net, he led us in morning workouts that only the top competitors on the team showed up too (something he came up with), and so on and so forth. Coach had a value that was unprecedented for a coach at Dominguez, and it can be seen by the legacy he left behind for us this year. Finally, the most appealing part of coach Magno was his attitude towards his players and the game. If you ever needed someone to talk too about something, you knew you’d get some positive feedback from him. The first quarter of our season I spent on the bench, but through working everyday with coach Magno, we made it our goal to break me into that lineup. Once I did, we just smiled. Joe Magno is the kind of man that any manager would be extremely lucky to have on his roster, and I know for a fact that the CSUDH Toros wouldn’t have gone to the playoffs this year if it weren’t for Coach working hard every single day with us hitters.
Brady Conlan - CSUDH Player (Testimonial)
To Whom This May Concern: It has been quite an honor to play for Coach Joe Magno for the 2014-15 season. Since the beginning of the school year, out of the five coaches that we had, Coach Magno was by far the hardest working. He has had the most energy, enthusiasm, and passion than any coach I have ever played for. He has managed to turn a team that was picked to finish last in the conference with 15 seniors gone and only 2 recruits, into a team that finished in the top 3 in almost every offensive category and one game shy of the regionals. I will greatly miss playing for Coach Magno but will continue to hit with him as much as I can because there is no coach out there that will put blood, sweat and tears into every opportunity to get better. Personally, I went from hitting zero home runs in 3 years of college to 6 home runs in one season. I managed to play the most games in one season that I have ever played, 54, and I will absolutely credit it to the vigorous off season training he put us through. I managed to hit the most doubles that I have ever hit in a single season and finished top 2 in the conference. All of this was made possible through the endless effort that Coach Magno gave not only to me but to every player on our team. I highly encourage you to hire him because he will deliver a winning season to whatever program that has the pleasure of having him. There is nobody out there with more love for the game than Coach Joe Magno. Brady Conlan CSUDH Player
