More About Coach Joel
I have experience coaching abilities and skill levels across the board, from 8 year old new beginners to competitive collegial athletes.
Currently a coach and director at Orlando City Soccer School Lake Nona.
USSF C Licensed.
I have played soccer (or more rightly football) since I was 5 growing up just outside Liverpool, England. I was vice captain for my University team, also winning player of the season and top goal scorer awards. My highest playing level was for semi-professional club Buckley Town FC, in Wales. After moving to the US in 2018 I have played in the UPSL and NSL over the past few years.
My football coaching philosophy is to making every player as well rounded as possible. Especially for younger players to develop them in being able to play any position on the pitch, training their "football brain" so as to be smart players as well as skillful players. The same goes for older players, however we will specify upon more positional focus to benefit player expertise.

We were visiting Orlando for a few weeks this winter and I arranged for some private training for my 8 year old son who is fairly serious about the sport. Joel was prepared and able to adjust the drills to my son's skill level/what he needed to work on. Highly recommend.
