Coach Brannen is currently heading into his 6th season as a head coach at the professional indoor football level. The 2016 season will be his second with the Iowa Barnstormers, where he was also a quarterback for the team in 2008 and 2009. Coach Brannen has coached at the high school, college, and professional levels throughout his career. During his career as a player and a coach, Coach Brannen has privately trained over 50 quarterbacks and wide receivers and worked over 25 passing camps as the head instructor or camp instructor. While he specializes in working with QB's and WR's, he has the ability and experience to individually coach each position on the football field.

After high school Coach Brannen attended Coe College where he was a 3 year starter. Was twice named first team all Iowa Conference quarterback and was named IIAC MVP during his senior season. He was selected to play in the Aztec Bowl, featuring the top division 3 football players. After his career at Coe, Joe played professionally in Europe before heading into the Arena Leagues. His playing career started with the Iowa Barnstormers before traveling south to play in Texas.

I currently use an hour and a half session to work out a quarterback. We will hit everything in each session that is crucial to playing the quarterback position. We will work grip, throwing mechanics, footwork, accuracy, visual acuity, pocket presence, as well as the most important aspect of playing the position, leadership.
