More About Coach Jimmy

I have been giving private Strength & Conditioning Sessions for athletes in the sports of baseball, soccer, Basketball, Track & Field, and football in Greensboro, NC for the past 8 years. My coaching philosophy is based on what I have learned from some of the best coaches in the world and tested on thousands of athletes over the years. These methods have continued to show results as I modify what is not working as I am constantly trying to learn what will help our athletes out perform their competition. I enjoy working with athletes as young as 8 all the way up to professional level athletes. We cater the workouts to each athletes weaknesses, limitations, and levels of expertise. I greatly enjoy working with the HS athletes as we help them realize their dreams of obtaining a collegiate scholarship. My specialities include helping athletes add muscle mass, decrease body fat, increase injury prevention, and fixing imbalances. Also, we place a high priority on developing mental strength as we believe as man thinketh so is he.

All our sessions start with myofascial release, dynamic warm up, muscle activation, followed by coordination drills, speed drills, and jump drills. We feel that excites the nervous system of each athlete to prepare them for movement. After each session, we allow for our athletes to ask questions and want to see improvement made in some area of their training.

Great Coach. Pushes you to your max and helps you reach your goals

Coach Jimmy is a First Class Trainer. From day one, my son was not just a number, but an Athlete that Coach L, took a genuine interest on making him better. Looking forward to our joint long term commitment to my son. Gregg Sr

Coach Jimmy is a wonderful coach. He is motivating and encouraging while at the same time pushing my child to try his best!

My goal was not to lose weight, but 90% of my weight lost came from my diet. I did one of NLP’s 20 minute circuit trainings 2 a week for about 5 months, and this strengthen my core while I was losing the weight. Losing weight, working out and obtaining a physical goal is NOT easy. You have to break habits that you have been doing for 20+ years in a matter of months. Considering I was a Collegiate athlete, I know how far to push my body to get a desired result. I would recommend that the average person, set a monthly goal, but not expect to see. lasting results for at least a year. A “workout/diet” habit must be developed in order to achieve the goal and maintain it.
Through my involvement with NLP, I've become more defined in my muscular build, stronger physically, and rediscovered my enjoyment of strength training. NLP has both challenged me physically and mentally. Through this training system, I have been encouraged and pushed beyond my personal comfort zone in the area of physical fitness. In addition to physical results, I have also gained a substantial amount of knowledge as it pertains to fitness and diet. This system of training offers an in depth knowledge into the essential components of achieving and maintaining a healthier lifestyle. I hold NLP in high regard and look forward to continue to use this system to help me reach my fitness goals. Thank you Jimmy and Charlene Lamour
Coach Lamour is one of the few performance coaches who actually “gets it”. Rather than trying to separate performance and body composition goals, NLP meshes the two with fun, short, “athletic” workouts to develop an “all around” athlete.
NLP has been a tremendous program in my life. As a new husband one thing I didn't want to do was put on the newlywed pounds! A few came on, but through NLP they are beginning to come off! I can already see the difference in the way my clothes fit. My endurance has increased as well as my overall strength. One of the best things about NLP is that you have someone there with you in the gym. It's much easier when you know someone is there for you as opposed to going at it alone. You have someone there to correct your mistakes and push you to do more than you think you can. I would encourage anyone who is serious about working out and taking care of your body to strongly consider NLP! You will not be disappointed!
New Level Performancehas helped Darius with his form, discipline, and technique. He's able to compete at higher level against youth athletes 2 to 5 years older than he is. NLP’s speed camp has truly been a benefit to Darius's ultimate goal of becoming a professional athlete. It has propelled him years ahead of his counter parts.
New Level Performance has been working with my 17 year old daughter and my 11 year old son. My daughter just signed a scholarship to play softball and directly owes the improvement she had in speed and quickness to NLP. My 11 year son was your typically big kid who couldn’t move; not only has he lost some of his baby fat, but is now considered one of the more explosive kids on his football team. Both kids love working with NLP as they push them in a nurturing building manner not one of yelling or abuse. I strongly recommend NLP to anyone looking to improve their kids and themselves.
