Each of my sessions will begin and end with stretching and a warm up. The very first meeting will comprise of some basic ball handling, shooting, defensive skills, and foot drills so i can better pinpoint where each individual athlete needs are. From there a rigorous training program will be assembled from my findings. Each athlete will be subjected to different drills that range from easy to extreme difficulty that will push the player based on their skill level to get to that next level. I will place players in real-game situations and condition them to react quickly and correctly. Each session will consist of numerous ball handling drills that will eventually have the player comfortable in any situation whether its running an offense, being full court pressed under pressure or running screen and rolls. Different spot shooting drills that incorporate and focus on form, technique, moving without the ball, and most importantly repetition in game speed. Footwork and explosion will also be incorporated into a session with speed ladder drills, plyometrics with medicine balls, and resistance band training.
