More About Coach Jenna

In 2012, I began working as a varsity track and field assistant coach at Ravenscroft School. In 2013, I took on the position as the head sprint coach, where I specialized in coaching 100m-400m runners and all sprint relays, while also working with long jumpers and hurdlers. During my three years at Ravenscroft, I developed several conference and state champions in both sprints and sprint relays.
In the 2016 spring season, I took on a coaching position for Meredith College Track and Field, where I worked with all sprinters and long jumpers. I designed and implemented weight training workouts for track athletes of any event.
In the fall of 2016, I took on the position of head strength and conditioning coach at Meredith college, where I worked with all sports including lacrosse, volleyball, soccer, track, cross country, tennis, basketball, and softball. I designed both in and out of season weight and conditioning workouts, while also resuming the assistant track and field coach position, where I lead all sprinters and jumpers.

I am also a certified personal trainer, through the American Council on Exercise (ACE), where I have had additional training in speed, agility, and quickness. I have been training clients of all ages, genders, and ability levels since November 2014.

I began my athletic career as a ten-year competitive gymnast. I began competing in track and field when I was 13, and have loved it ever since. In high school, I was All-Conference in the 100m, 200m, long jump, and 4x100m relay. I was the NCISAA 3A state champion in the 100m in 2009, and runner-up in the long jump in 2009 and 2011.

I ran for Western Carolina University as a freshman in college, before transferring to North Carolina State University as a member of the competitive cheerleading team.

All sessions will be tailored to fit the needs of the individual athlete. Sessions may include proper warm-ups, running form/technique evaluation and correction drills, speed, agility, quickness, plyometrics, core conditioning, and reaction training.

Payed very close attention to detail. Was very clear and precise and understanding

Jennifer was prompt and very knowledgeable. I look forward to more sessions.

Lots of patience and great work out!

She was terrific. Went over basics in terms of proper form and areas where I need to practice. Very patient. Coach Jennifer covered just what i needed.

My 11-year-old son Ethan had his first session with Coach Jennifer today, after his travel ice hockey coach recommended track work to improve his explosiveness and agility. Ethan wasn't excited at first, but Jennifer made his first track lesson a fun experience! She was patient, encouraging, and funny...now he can hardly wait for the next session. Thank you, Coach Jennifer!

I really appreciate her and what she has done for Lauryn

Coach Jennifer has been the perfect fit for our 15 year old daughter. Our daughter has been out of volleyball for 5 weeks due to an injury. With Coach Jennifer's guidance and passion for her craft, Alayna is feeling better than ever. Her speed and agility is steadily improving. We are appreciative of how far our daughter has come in a short amount of time with Coach Jennifer. Thanks Coach Jenna!!!!!

Coach Jen is absolutely wonderful. I knew after my daughter's first practice that she was the perfect fit for us. If you are looking for a coach that can look and identify your or your child's need to improve their craft, I would definitely recommend Coach Jen. I went to coach Jen for technique and form and I don't think I could have picked a better coach.. Highly recommend...
