More About Coach Jason

I have coached youth athletes from ages 8-14 in various areas of basketball. I have previously held individual skill sessions working specifically with each athlete on their strengths and weaknesses. I have also worked with athletes of the same age in 5-day summer basketball camps at Washington College.

Led the New York City PSAL (Public School Athletic League) in Points Per Game (32.8 PPG) and Total Points Scored in 2018-2019. Was selected for the Mayor's Cup Public School vs. Catholic School All-Star Game. Selected First-Team All-City "A" Division in 2018-2019. Averaged 32.5 PPG as a Junior in the 2017-2018 high school season. Selected Second-Team All-City "A" Division in 2017-2018. First ever 1,000-point scorer in Millennium Brooklyn HS history and the all-time leading scorer in school history with 1,354 points. 3-year Team Captain. Completed a prep year at the International Sports Academy in Willoughby, Ohio. Former Athlete and Captain for Washington College (DIII) in Chestertown, Maryland.

A typical session would include ball-handling, finishing, and shooting drills. There could be an added emphasis on anything the athlete is looking to improve specifically like defense, conditioning, etc. Other areas like shooting free throws while tired will be incorporated throughout the workout. The athlete will also learn things they could practice on their own and how to improve without a ball or hoop.

Client Reviews

(no details provided)

Coach Jason was very nice and organized. He was very quick to answer my questions I had, for my son, prior to his workout. He even came with extra water in case we ran out.
My son really likes coach Jason. He was very knowledgeable for what my son needed for his workout. Coach Jason assessed my son and came up with an even better workout for the next day. Too bad we don’t live around here as we found coach Jason while visiting my parents. My son would have benefited from his training. All and all, for the few sessions we had, we highly recommend coach Jason. He is very good with teenagers.
