Jason Erxleben

My experience dates back to high school, when I coached a little league squad to state and regional titles. From there I graduated and committed to Clemson University before injuring my shoulder. After a few years playing in Division 1 and 2 baseball, I spent my summers working with Stealth Baseball and Impact Baseball out of Charlotte, NC coaching pitching to athletes of all ages. Since my college career ended, I have spent my time researching the science of baseball injuries and am now an expert in injury prevention; an area as critical as basic fundamentals. Additionally, I have worked with the world's largest recruiting firm for high school athletes, therefore not only will I help with taking your student athlete's skill to an elite level, but I am able to provide the most up to date information and assistance with recruiting, to help you and your student athlete reach the next level, whatever that may be. My passion for baseball is only matched by helping young athletes. The way I coach is business for pleasure, so I will be sure that your young baseball player will love the game for years to come because of their success that they have earned.

Early commit to Clemson University on baseball, then recommit to UNC Pembroke where I earned Freshman MVP honors. Following my transfer, I continued my career at Lenoir Rhyne University where I was 2 time team co-captain, before having career ending shoulder surgery.

The areas of focus are for all positions with Pitching and Catching being my specialty. I will focus on areas of the game catered to the player and parent requests. For pitchers, the activities will vary for the age but focus around mechanics, control and arm and core strengthening activities. Following this focus will be more in depth items such as velocity training, pitch selection and batter set up techniques.

With catchers, the focus will be blocking, pitch calling, framing and throw down/pick-off fundamentals.

For position players/hitters, sessions will be focused around fundamentals for ground balls/fly balls, and basic mechanics to advanced mechanics of collegiate level hitters.
