Played catcher, infield, and DH at an NCAA D3 level as well as high school. I played college ball at Maryville College and started games 3 out of 4 years. I was undersized throughout my career and I had to work very hard in the weight room and on the field to get the chance to play at the college level. I’m passionate about helping players like me get to where they want to go with their baseball careers.
2013-2017: Pope John Paul II High School Baseball Team
- Started Varsity as a catcher/infielder Junior and Senior years
- Had to learn the catching position out of necessity my Junior year, and it is what I ended up getting recruited for in college
2017-2021 Maryville College Baseball:
- Started games 3 of 4 years as a utility player
- Played catcher, second base, and designated hitter
Typical session would be an hour, I’m very flexible for whatever the client needs. I specialized with high school aged catchers, infielders, and hitters. I have also worked with younger players (ages 7-12) individually and in group sessions in the past. I have access to an indoor facility I coach out of for lessons.
Example of a Catching and Hitting 1hr Session (can always extend the lesson to 1 1/2 hr if needed):
5-10 minutes: Dynamic Warmup (can be done before the session starts if client is early to the lesson)
20-25 mins: Train one aspect of catching depending on the client's needs and goals (catching, blocking, throwing)
20-25 mins: Hitting - Training focus will be determined based on client's needs, age, and goals
5 mins: Lesson recap - Review of what we worked on and what can we do at home to continue improving our skillset and athletic abilities in baseball
I'm very flexible and can accommodate any needs a client may have. Adjustments are made week to week to take into account a client's changing needs and goals.
