As a coach, I have over 59 MOC qualifiers, 13 Group Champions, and 22 sectional Champions in my 23 years. I have started 2 programs from the ground up and continue to produce great student athletes. 8 students have received Division I scholarships and my athletes have attended such schools as Princeton, Stanford, Richmond, Duke, James Madison, and Maryland. Many others have gone on to compete at the collegiate level. Just like many of you , I was new to the sport when I started back in 1980. I was not very good at it, but through a great, enthusiastic, and knowledgable coach, I was able to become a pretty good runner, who loved running, and continued to do it in college and beyond. It also gave me the passion for helping others. I have been coaching HS and middle school kids for over 21 years, and my enthusiasm and committment to each athlete hasn't diminished. I coach all events in track and field, but are most comfortable with the running events as that is what I competed in. I know that I can get any athlete, of any ability to achieve their goals. How? do you ask? Because each person is different and need a different type of motivation and workout. I will determone your strenghts and weaknesses, and develop a plan to enhance your strengths while eliminating your weaknesses. Workouts will be challenging and make you feel good about yourselves for completing them. I am also flexible and understand that some days are harder than others. I can and will adjust a workout so that you benefits from it and leave on a positive note, even when you feel bad. I believe that with my guidance, all athletes can achieve your fitness goals, and come away with a new passion in life, running!!!

I was a 4 time all county performed and 4 time MOC qualifier while in HS.. Went on to run division III track and cross country for 4 years st Norwich University.I hold 6 individual school records in college and one relay record. Was a 3 time New England Qualifier at 1000m, 2 time qualifier at 1500m, and a 2 time qualifier at 800m. Also was a.member of the 4x400m qualifying team.
In addition I coached the New England 10000m champion while still a student.

First, we will discuss the goals of the athlete. The goals will help us design a program that will allow the athlete to reach his/her goals. Setback and disappointment will help us re-evaluate the training and keep the athlete on course.
Each session will include stretching, drills, and a specific workout. In addition, the student will be given drills and workouts that will help them achieve thecdedired results. In addition, I will be available to discuss and answer any questions or concerns that might arise.
