More About Coach Jamail

Hi my name is Jamail Berry and my background consists of some pretty great experiences and accomplishments through my life while playing college and professional football. First off through high school I was a three year starter at TE/DE in New castle Delaware. In high school I was First team All State at both positions my Senior year. I also was Defensive and overall lineman player of the year and old spice player of the year. Furthermore I attended the Delaware Blue and Gold all-star game as well in conclusion to my senior year of graduating. From there I attended a junior college in Kansas called Coffeyville Community College, there I thrive my second year as a first year Safety and was player of the week for two interception for 62 yards in a single game. Eventually after my last year at CCC my hard worked paid off and I had several full scholarships offers and interest from all D1 colleges including Arkansas, and Temple University, Kansas University, Marshall and others but I choose to attend Western Michigan University. There where I earned a BS degree in general studies and played on some of the biggest stages on televised TV for college sports some being ABC and ESPN and ESPN2, the schools being Michigan State, Michigan University, Notre Dame and many others. To some up my career at WMU I was a two year starter became MAC player of the week a few times while being a starter at Western Michigan. In 2010 I had the chance to workout for the Philadelphia Eagles but did not get selected in the 2010 NFL draft, after that long road of ups and downs and waiting for a call to be apart of an organization in the national football league. I took my talents to professional Arena football for a year, than soon after I got a chance to play over seas in Europe for a team in Italy called Reggio Emilia hogs. There I thrived as a coach and player and made it to the playoffs but came up sort and lost in the first round playoffs. Soon after I returned to the states I received a call from a coach from the USA vs. Europe all-star game to be invited as a Defensive starter in the game in December, and now I await my time to play in that game but also continue my career goal to be a coach and mentor towards young youth in football and perfecting there craft and also supplying the fundamentals and mental aspects of the game and what it takes to be the best athlete they can be. So that long after the game they have the strong mental aspects and work ethic and physical makeup to become a better person overall, because at the end of the day that’s what my journey has been through football and what it has taught me as a person and father. Its more than just a game but it teaches life learn lessons that will someday outside of sports help you get your first job long after your done with the game, because the skills and determination and mental toughness this game teaches you, makes you more intriguing to employers over the next person because you will be able to handle tough situations, and not just in football but life as far as my sessions go you will hopefully learn that trait.

High school- First team All state, TE/DE, Defensive player of the year in the State of Delaware, overall Lineman of the year, Old spice player of the year as well, Blue and Gold all star invite.

Junior college CCC- player of the week a few times, offers from over Ten Division 1 colleges from SEC, Big 12, MAC, WAC, Conference USA, Mountain West, PAC 12, and Sun Belt conference as well all being full scholarships offers.

Western Michigan University- Player of the week honors over three times while playing there third team all conference, played versus Big ten and other top colleges, been in the Texas bowl in 2008 and played that game versus Rice University in the Houston Texas NFL stadium, was in the 2010 NFL draft class, worked out for the Eagles, had interest from the Jets as well

Professional career- played in the Indoor football league for lehigh steelhawks in PA, also I spent sort times with a team in Seattle as well, finally I played over seas in Europe for Italy and for the team called Reggio Emilia hogs, and from my success there I got an invite to the 2013 USA vs Europe all star game in South Carolina in Dec for DB/OLB.

Basically I have categorized my sessions in three parts:

Beginner sessions: This session will consists of very basic position driven drills for the athlete than the other two sessions. For example I will give the athlete a very solid platform to help elevate his game, I recommend this for freshman in high school and first time athletes in high school football playing for there first time.

Intermediate: I recommend this for those athletes that are just finding there self and want to learn a lot more on how to get better one and two need to sharpen there skills and IQ of the game more, basically a level above the begging stages but not the max stage which is the Advance stage and college driven concepts sessions.

Advance and College concepts sessions: This is basically the most demanding session physically and mentally, you can say this is for those who want to be pushed to elevate their game and hone there skills and perfect all of the footwork abilities, speed and knowledge of the game and much more. For example you will be worked out in ways that I would train myself when I was leaving for college and even before the professional stages of my life.If you are a high school athlete who is on his way to college for Division 1,2 or 3 it doesn't matter. I will give you great prep work so you are a head of the other incoming freshman in college, and so that your transition is smooth and not a stressful one, mainly because I have been through it all and only a select few can handle the pressures of being thrown in that type of college environment but the rewards are all worth it at the end of the day and your journey.
