More About Coach Jake
I’ve taught private tennis lessons as well as group clinics for ages 6-12 back in my hometown of Enid, OK. I also have experience coaching youth soccer and baseball here in San Antonio. My goal as an instructor will always be to inspire my students to enjoy tennis and develop confidence in their own abilities.
I played tennis up through the collegiate level for University of Redlands (Redlands, CA). I was in the starting lineup for a team that finished 5th nationally. At Enid High School (Enid, OK), I was part of the men’s 5A State Championship team.
I will provide a combination of verbal and hands-on instruction. Hands on will include service line to baseline rallying, volleys, overheads, serve, and return of serve. Lessons will be tailored to align with a player’s skill level and goals, whether it’s to play recreational or competitively.
