I have spent over eight years working with athletes ranging from 5-year-olds to collegiate players. My coaching history spans elite youth systems and college programs, including:
Westmont College (Santa Barbara): Served as an Assistant Coach, focusing on the tactical and physical development of collegiate athletes.
Chula Vista Futbol Club: Assistant Coach for the MLS NEXT U19 team.
Las Vegas Players Soccer Club: Served as Head Coach for the U14 Boys, U16 Girls, and U17 Girls divisions.
Individual Training: Extensive experience providing 1-on-1 personal training across various states to fast-track individual player development.
Elite Playing Background & Education
My coaching is rooted in a career played at the highest levels. At 15, I played for the U-15 Mexican National team, and I later competed in the 3rd division in Madrid, Spain. This international perspective allows me to teach the game with a focus on global standards and technical excellence.
I hold a degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in athletic training from Northwest Nazarene University. My academic background ensures that every session I design is safe, effective, and built on sound biomechanical principles. During my playing career, I was honored as a First Team All-Conference player at both Arizona Western College and Northwest Nazarene University.

I specialize in crafting personalized training programs that focus on the unique needs of each player. To kick things off, we start with what I call an ‘Initial Assessment Training Session.’ This isn’t just an evaluation; it’s a full-on training session where I identify your child’s strengths and weaknesses. This hands-on approach allows me to create a comprehensive training plan that covers the technical, tactical, and mental facets of soccer.
My primary objective is to enhance the players' skills and abilities, ensuring a well-rounded development. While striving for improvement, I always emphasize the importance of enjoying the game of soccer. Creating a positive and enjoyable training environment is crucial for the players to fully engage and maximize their potential.

Coach Jaime was so great on my son's very first session with him that I decided I'm going to keep going with Coach Jaime as long as it takes until my son feels comfortable with the sport. Jaime has so much knowledge in coaching soccer, if you need a refresher if you need to start from the beginning or anywhere in between, Jaime will assess where you're at and create a coaching plan from there. I think that is the best way to coach anybody by assessing where the athlete is and going from that point. Jaime was patient communicative and gave a lot of praise during the session. My son has never been as happy as he was that day. After the session my son was smiling from ear to ear and sweating profusely. But he didn't care because he was so happy. He said Coach Jaime showed me things I could do with the soccer ball that I did not know I could do. He's excited to see him now every Saturday he looks forward to it. It's going to be amazing and I cannot wait to see what happens during these sessions with Coach Jaime. Thank you coach for everything and the small amount of time we spent with you already. He was irresponsible and unprofessional. That's because we scheduled a week of daily sessions three weeks in advance after he confirmed he would be available every day. He quoted his fee for those 5 sessions which I paid in full. He backed out after the first session which wrecked my daughter's winter break plans.
