I have competed in Track & Field for 10 years, primarily in the Shot-put and Discus. I was on the Varsity track team at Redondo High School for all 4 years and broke the shot-put school record. I then continued my track career at the collegiate level. I took 2nd in the state of California for Junior College 2 years in a row and was ranked top 10 nationally. I was 2nd all-time at El Camino College in the shot-put. I then transferred to California State University, Long Beach and had a great career there as well. I became an All-American in the shot-put and was one of the top 20 in the nation for shot-put and discus. My all time marks were 59-4 in shot-put and 183-9 in the discus.

I have taken courses in the throws from one of the best throwers of all time, John Godina, at his World Throws Center clinic and there, he was able to teach me how to break down certain components in the art of throwing. People tell me that I have a natural ability to coach athletes because I am able to use analogies that make it easier for athletes to understand.

I don't have a specific session plan because I must first determine what form you wish to master (spin or glide-technique) and how strong and explosive the athlete is.
