More About Coach Ivan
I have helped run Youth Baseball Hitting Academies at ProX in Westfield Indiana. I also gave hitting lessons to high school athletes while I was a student athlete at the University of Texas.
I am a former Division 1 Baseball Player at the University of Texas. I’m also a former Minor League player with 4.5 years of professional experience. I reached the AAA level in the Arizona Diamondbacks Organization. In college, I earned the Golden Spikes Award in 2022. Also in 2022, I was a 2nd Round Draft Pick in the MLB Draft.
A client can expect professional advice and expertise in fielding and hitting. I focus on the mental and physical side of both tasks. For fielding, I focus on footwork, glove work, infield drills and throwing accuracy. For hitting, I focus on having the right mechanics, being on time to hit, getting good pitches to drive and having the right approach. Swing mechanics and acknowledging the pitchers tendencies.
