More About Coach Isaiah
I’ve been coaching now for going on 14 years. I got my start when I began organizing captains practices as a Freshman in High School. From there I’ve worked one on one with well over 200 athletes in sports ranging from track & field, football, basketball, & soccer. I’ve worked with individuals aged from Kindergarten all the way up to Professional/Semi Pro. Speed & athleticism as well as helping improve mental cognition are my specialities. All sports are 90% mental & 10% physical. When you tie them together great things are possible.
Former Track & Field + Football Athlete
Walked on at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities Golden Gopher Football Program & Professional Arena Football for the Bismarck Bucks.
Trained & led interdisciplinary work outs for going on 14 years. Lettered all 4 years in Weight Room during high school. Boasted a 4.39 40 yd dash, 11.1 100m, & a 22.9 200 m. Honorable mention in Track & Field as a Freshman & All Conference as a Senior. Currently hold 2 of the fastest 200 meter times in my high school’s history.
Clients can expect a top down approach. My philosophy is one in which everything we do is intentional. I want each athlete to be as in control of every muscle group and body part as possible. I coach in a way where each athlete will grow to understand exactly how our bodies work together. They’ll have a heightened understanding of their individual biomechanics. When athletes know their body they can create a relationship with it which ultimately helps better their athletic capabilities. Sessions will begin with a dynamic warm up that gets all of your body engaged and ready to respond when you need it to. The dynamic warm up we employ will engage you in a way that when the more strenuous aspects of the work out begins blood flow & elasticity will be optimized. This allows for better performance/responsiveness as well as lowering our chance at injury which is very important to me. I specialize in speed and athleticism. A lot more goes into that than people think. We’ll employ disciplines that involve isometric holds & dynamic movements that will increase muscular control, balance, & core strength. Everything will be centered around coordinated movements focused on making sure each athlete properly utilizes their bodies which will in turn grant them better athletic performance and boosted confidence to go with it.
