More About Coach Hooman

I have coached tennis along side Jimmy Bollettieri (son of legendary coach Nick Bollettieri) at Flamingo and North Shore tennis clubs in Miami, Florida. I have had the pleasure of teaching all ages and abilities including kids’ Summer classes for ages 4-12.
I hold a current Tennis Pro license for the city of Miami Beach. I am also a USTA certified coach nationwide.

I was a member of my high school tennis team which won 3 state championships (lost in the other final). I also played #1 singles and doubles in college at Shepherd University in West Virginia (Division 2). I had the pleasure of being part of the 1999 WVIAC (West Virginia Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) state championship team and twice competed for the singles title, losing in the Finals both times.

I begin by listening to what my student is looking to get out of their training. Some people may only be looking to get a solid workout while other athletes, young aspiring tennis players, or beginners may require more of a structured program.
I am able to cater to any/all types of players and skill levels.
