More About Coach Hayley

My name is Hayley H. or better known as Coach Herron. I was a staff Coach for ODP (Olympic Development Program) for the 2001- 2004 girls. I am the Head Coach at Lawrence Central High School. I also coach travel, I am the Head Coach for u11, u13, u14, u15 u16 age groups. I have coached soccer for the past 17 years and have played for the past 28 years. I have traveled the country playing in several soccer matches and have been invited to the WPSL in San Francisco and NWSL. I Host my own annual Soccer Camp that has been very successful, Herron's Soccer Camp.

Training sessions will vary on player skill level. I train from beginner to advance. I break things down for every player and then show them how to use the knowledge and foot work in a game situation. Being an involved soccer player still, I can show each player the "move" and work with them on 1v1 situations. I can teach every position, including Goalkeeping.

All County/All Conference all 4 years. MVP 3 of 4 years. Leading Goal scorer and currently hold the record for goals scored in a single season.

First Session: Determining athlete skill level and knowledge of the game, as well as their goal and what they expect to achieve. i.e. a Beginner will be introduced to the positions and objectives of each position. Then move to basic/proper dribbling/passing/shooting techniques.

Second Session: Warm Up by working on previous session lesson. Then incorporate set plays/dribbling moves and finish with a combination of all.

Third Session: Focal point of position of interest. Depends on skill level and goals.

Usually by the second or third session, I will bring in athletes of similar skill to work on 2v1, 2v2, etc. The focus is on primary player, but this allows for realistic situations. I do incorporate cardio exercises, but I break it down and keep it soccer oriented.

Coach Hayley knows what she is doing. I've been impressed with her skills and we've only had two sessions. I feel my son will benefit greatly from her knowledge. I can't wait to see what new things she will be teaching him. Don't question this decision at all, it is worth it!

Coach Herron is fantastic. Hannah loves trying with her and excited for each practice. We can see improvement after each session.

We just completed our first series of training with Coach Herron and I have to say I cannot wait to start the next series. Coach Herron brings in older players to help teach the younger players and cares about every one of her players and trainees.

coach hayley is very experienced coach, and while my daughter had a very good session with her it was the only session we had and it was very hard communicating with her and trying to get more sessions booked. we also didn't get some info she was going to send through email like the practice plans and individual training, so we didn't really get everything out of this session!. the few times we tried to schedule with her we had a conflict but could not get timely responses to reschedule neither via text or email... i believe she would be an all around perfect coach if she can get her communications in order. thank you anyway and hope we can get other sessions for my daughter with other coaches!

My daughter worked with Coach Hayley last night and it was really a great session. Coach had several drills that she went through to see what Toni needed to work on and she spent quality time working on some improvement opportunities. Coach's knowledge of the sport is tremendous. I immediately set up another session and plan to have one once a week throughout the winter in my kid's off season. I can't wait to see how my daughter does in the spring! I'm extremely satisfied AND happy with finding Coach Hayley!
