More About Coach Hasan

After being a decorated swimmer in my native land of Turkey, where I won Nationals in the 50 m and 100 m Freestyle, I decided to acquire deeper knowledge of the human body and training. Upon completing a four-year degree in sports science at the University of Marmara, I got myself certified as a personal trainer(NASM). For the last 12 years, I have worked as a coach in Istanbul and New York.
My specialty is corrective exercises to rid people of pain, brought on by muscular imbalances. I improved myself in this scope during my recovery due to my past injury.
I have experience working at various commercial gyms as well as private training studios. I've been working as a freelance coach for a while and I am currently a NASM certified trainer.

I swam until I was 6 to 18 at professional level. I was in Turkey's national team for 2 years and represented my country in Europe. I have many championships in Turkey in the 50m and 100m freestyles. After I started to study Sports Science at the University of Marmara I became a fitness trainer and worked with many swimmers as a conditioning coach.

Everybody is unique and has different needs when it comes to training. It is crucial to pursue a workout plan based on your posture, age, background in fitness, physical condition, etc. If there are muscle imbalances that cause postural distortion (most of the time there are) your plan should include some corrective exercises to fix it to train efficiently and pain-free.
