Hans reached the quarter finals in Wimbledon in 2017 together with Andrei Vasilevski. Along the way they defeated one team in the top ten. It was one of the best weeks of his career. Wimbledon is one of the greatest tennis tournaments in the planet, so for Hans to have reached the quarter finals, created a huge impact in Chile.
In Wimbledon 2018, after battling for more three days, Hans Podlipnik and Marcelo Arevalo won 22-20 in the fifth set. Hans and Marcelo made history as this is in the top 5 of the longest matches in the history of Wimbledon. It was three days of drama and a complete full court. After winning such a long match it was very hard to recover physically in order to compete well in the next rounds.

Hans reaching third round in the Australian Open, beating players like Diego Schwartzman (11 ATP singles) and Guido Pella (26 ATP singles) in the first round. And in the second round beating the 2017 Australian Open winners Nicolas Mahut (1 ATP doubles), and Pierre-Hughes Herbert (1 ATP doubles).
In the second photo is Hans winning Gold Medal in the Pan American Games. Winning against USA in the quarter finals, Ecuador in the semifinals and Argentina in the finals.
Along with this achievements Hans won in doubles against many top ten teams such as: Jamie Murray (1 ATP doubles), Bruno Soares (2 ATP doubles), Pierre Hughes Herbert (1 ATP doubles), Nicolas Mahut (1 ATP doubles). Sebastian Cabal (5 ATP), Robert Farah (5 ATP doubles). He has also been practicing with the Bryan Brothers in Florida in 2017. He has also played in singles and in doubles against players like: Kei Nishikori (4 ATP singles), Ivo Karlovic (14 ATP singles), Fernando Verdasco (7 ATP singles), Alexander Zverev (3 ATP singles), Stefanos Tsitsipas (ATP 8 singles), Karen Kachanov (11 ATP singles), Marco Cecchinato (ATP 16 singles), Gael Monfils (6 ATP singles), Kyle Edmund (14 ATP singles), Pablo Carreno Busta (10 ATP singles), Frances Tiafoe (29 ATP singles), Lucas Pouille (10 ATP singles), Richard Gasquet (7 ATP singles), etc...
