I am an ASCA Level 2 swim coach and YMCA certified swim instructor with 15 years aquatic instruction experience. I am currently obtaining my USA Swimming coach certification, as well as working toward my ASCA Level 3 certification.

I swam for the Greater Pensacola Aquatic Club (competitive year-round USS team) from the ages of 12 to 18. During that time, I also worked as a volunteer swim instructor for their Swim America program. At the age of 16, I obtained my Red Cross Lifeguarding, CPR, AED certifications. At the age of 17, I became employed with the YMCA of Northwest Florida, where I worked as an aquatic instructor from April 2003 until June 2015.

A minimum of (3) sessions/lessons are recommended, typically to occur within a 7 day period. The first session/lesson will consist of an individualized aquatic ability/level assessment, short and long-term goal setting, building confidence and fluid movements in the water, as well as basic aquatic safety review. All further sessions will build on the goals discussed during Lesson #1. Therefore, required # of total sessions/lessons very much vary depending on age, ability, and personal goal.
