More About Coach Gus
I coached a middle school team for a couple years when I was in high school. I worked alongside Abington Friends School staff in the summers for workouts. I also worked with a personal trainer and ball-handling instructor.
I played baasketball for Abington High School and then went on to play lacrosse in college. However, I practiced with the basketball team in the off-season and drilled 1v1 with the starting point guard (now in the G-League). I would consider myself a shooting specialist.
Ball-handling is extremely important to me. I also want to devote a ton of time to shooting. Outside shots, floaters, all different ways to get shots off. The client should stay moving the entirety of the session. I will keep it fun, I guarantee it.

Gus is a great coach. My son had very limited lacrosse experience and wanted to pursue the sport in high school. To help him prepare better, I hired Gus to go over the basics and show him the correct way of doing things like passing, catching, shooting, etc. It was a tall order in a short time frame but Gus was able to deliver. Gus even showed him some advanced moves to give my son an edge. With a lot of hard work, determination, and Gus’s training, my son made the high school lacrosse team.
