More About Coach Grace
During high school, I was an assistant coach for STRIVERS Running Club for Girls where I led middle school girls through runs, workouts, community service events, and book clubs. I was able to use my high school running experience to answer questions, give advice, and motivate them to set their own goals. Since then, I have created numerous summer training plans for high school runner clients that cater to their individual goals and needs. I meet with my clients in-person for track sessions and either run or bike alongside them during distance runs or do virtual sessions with individuals who are not local. While I have worked with a majority of a middle and high school girls, I am open to working with individuals of all ages!
I am currently a junior on the varsity cross country and track and field teams at Stanford University where I have made numerous NCAA appearances. I am a 2x USTFCCCA NCCA All-American and 2x PAC-12 Academic Honoree. On the track, I specialize in the 5k and 10k but have experience training from events as low as 800 meters. Throughout my high school cross country and track and field career, I was a 8x All-State Champion, 7x All-American, and 3x MA State Gatorade Player of the Year and hold numerous course and facility records. In addition to being a 3x MetroWest Female Athlete of the Year, I was also my team's MVP for every season of cross country, indoor, and outdoor track.
A client can first expect a weekly training plan that I will send out at the start of every week that consists of their daily runs/workouts. These running workouts may consist of runs for mileage, interval sessions on the track, threshold runs, or recovery cross trains. In addition to their individualized running workouts depending on the athlete's goals, I will send supplemental core and weight training exercises to promote specialized strength training and injury prevention for runners. I tend to meet with my clients on the days of interval workouts and threshold runs and let them do their easier runs on their own but am happy to meet with my clients whenever they please. I will also supply my athletes with necessary warmup and cooldown exercises in addition to recovery tips. For non-local athletes, I will be in frequent communication about their sessions with their parent or themselves (via text, email, Zoom, FaceTime, etc.).
